Golden Hearts Ministries, Inc. was founded and is operated by Kristi Brantley and Holli Usher. Kristi and Holli met at Freedom Hill Recovery Home in 2013 where Holli was a resident and Kristi became a volunteer. Through the next year and a half Kristi helped mentor Holli. It is Holli’s story that Kristi loved her to Jesus by loving her where she was as a homosexual going through the process of overcoming addiction. Holli came to know Christ personally in July 2014 and was delivered of homosexuality, addiction, and healed of fibromyalgia, Crohn’s disease, and back injuries. They were called into ministry later that year, and their calling is to show Christ’s love to others and help them find freedom and healing. By combining Holli’s testimony of redemption and healing with Kristi’s training in Inner Healing and Deliverance, God has created a powerful ministry team. Through their combined experiences and training God uses them to meet people where they are, bring hope to them, and share Christ’s love with them.

Kristi was born and raised in North Georgia, graduated from college with a BS degree in Biology, and she and her husband raised their three sons in the same foothills of the North Georgia Mountains. They were also blessed with a teenage daughter (a gift from the Lord) in 2012.  After everyone had graduated from high school, Kristi felt the desire to begin training for ministry through several different powerful and respected ministries. Since 2013, she has received training in areas such as Discipleship, Inner Healing, Deliverance, and other aspects of ministry, including experiencing The Father’s Love and living from our identity in Christ.  God has given her several very specific callings such as being a carrier of  peace that is to be given away to people He puts in her path.  The latest thing He  told her was that she is to ‘unwrap the grave cloths’ from those who have life in Christ (believers) but who are still living in various forms of  bondage (just like John 11:44.). Kristi has a strong desire to be as close to Jesus as humanly possible and to bring others into His Presence where they can also experience true healing and wholeness by His love.

Holli was raised in church but at the age of 15 professed to be homosexual. She is a graduate of Brenau University with a Business Administration/Accounting degree and worked at the same company for nearly 12 years. However, when she and her partner split up after 11 years, she didn’t know how to handle that loss. Her whole life and her value had revolved around that relationship. She was taking pain medication for medical reasons but began abusing them to numb the emotional pain as well. This led to a 4+ year addiction that almost took her life. She eventually went into a 12-month, faith-based, residential treatment facility where God was able to start transforming her life as she surrendered every part of her heart to Him.  She accepted Jesus as her personal Savior and has experienced much physical and emotional healing. God called her into full-time ministry and her desire is to pursue Him and His call on her life with all that she has. She desires for others to experience the overwhelming love of Christ, and the freedom and healing He offers to everyone.
